Toru Takami

Toru Takami currently serves as VP for Asia & MEA in Commercial Laundry at Electrolux Professional Group, based in Tokyo since September 2023. Previously, Takami was with Koki Holdings (formerly Hitachi Koki) from June 2018 to August 2023, where responsibilities included General Manager and Chief Director for the APAC SBU of Power Tools, as well as Global Product Management for Power Tools. Prior experience includes roles at Johnson Controls–Hitachi Air Conditioning as Director of Global Product Marketing and an extensive tenure at Panasonic, spanning from September 1991 to January 2016, where Takami held multiple positions focusing on HVAC product marketing across various global markets. Takami holds a BS in Mechanical System Engineering from Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Technology, earned in 1991.
