Akihiko Kawai is an accomplished executive with extensive experience in the technology and automotive sectors. Currently serving as Regional Director and Japan Country Manager at Elektrobit since July 2023, Kawai leads operations and engineering teams providing software products and services for the automotive industry. Prior roles include Head of ISV SaaS Strategy and Head of the Accenture AWS Business Group at Amazon Web Services from April 2017 to July 2023, along with significant leadership positions at Lenovo, EMC, Citrix Systems, Cisco Systems Japan, Microsoft, and Andersen Consulting. Kawai holds an Executive MBA from MIT Sloan School of Management and a BA in International Relations and Political Science from the University of Utah.
