Chaya Boonstede

Chaya Boonstede is an experienced professional in the fields of psychology and education, currently serving on the Committee of Supervision at Justitiële Jeugdinrichting Lelystad and as a board member for Kamer BIG-opleidelingen NIP. Chaya is also gaining experience as an orthopedagogue in training to become a GZ-psychologist at Eleos and Leger des Heils Amsterdam. With a rich background, Chaya has held roles such as treatment coordinator and orthopedagogue, and has contributed to academia as a guest lecturer at Universiteit Leiden, specializing in Cultural Diversity. Prior experience includes positions as a basic psychologist at Amethist verslavingszorg, team leader at VluchtelingenWerk Nederland, and jurist at Anti Incasso. Chaya holds a Master of Science in Orthopedagogiek from Leiden University and has completed various educational programs, including a Bachelor's degree in Pedagogical Sciences from the University of Amsterdam and a degree in Social Legal Services from Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences.
