Maryam Masoumi

Maryam Masoumi is a seasoned professional in the pharmaceutical industry, with extensive experience in clinical research and medical affairs. Currently serving as Director (Clinical Research Scientist) in Neuroscience at Eli Lilly and Company since July 2024, Maryam has previously held multiple senior roles at Novartis from January 2018 to July 2024, including Senior Medical Lead and MSL Manager in Immunology, as well as Senior Medical Advisor and Medical Advisor in Ophthalmology. Prior to Novartis, Maryam worked at Alexion Pharmaceuticals as Senior Medical Science Liaison for Rare Diseases, and at Clinical Research Corporation as Senior Medical Manager, where responsibilities included establishing a medical affairs team and providing scientific input for drug development. Maryam holds a Master of Pharmacy and a Bachelor of Science in Immunology, Anatomy, and Histochemistry from the University of Sydney.
