Darren Hanna

Darren Hanna is an experienced professional in contracts and commercial management with a strong background in the energy and engineering sectors. Currently serving as the Contracts and Claims Manager for Elia on the Modular Offshore Grid II project since September 2022, Darren previously held the position of Senior Commercial Manager at Wood from January 2020 to July 2022. At Elia, previously as Contracts Manager for the Modular Offshore Grid, Darren managed various contracts related to offshore installations and led commercial negotiations. Prior roles include Commercial Manager at Dornan Engineering Ltd., Quantity Surveyor/Contracts Manager at Jan De Nul Group, and Contracts Manager at Fabricom - GDF-Suez, where responsibilities spanned substantial offshore wind projects and large-scale commercial contracts. With over a decade at FCS Services Ltd. in various surveying and project management roles, Darren has developed a comprehensive skill set in financial management within construction and engineering projects. Educationally, Darren holds diplomas in Building Services Engineering from Munster Technological University.
