Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications at Elisa

Katiye Vuorela is currently the Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications at Elisa. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Vice President, Marketing Comms, Communications, Brand and Member of the Executive Board at Elisa from October 2008 to September 2020. In this role, they were responsible for leading Brand development, External and Internal communications and Marketing communications in accordance with business objectives and b2b and b2c as target groups. Prior to their time at PAROC, Vuorela served as Communications and Marketing Manager at IBM from March 1998 to June 2000. In this role, they were responsible for managing communications and marketing initiatives for IBM.

Before their time at IBM, Vuorela served as Marketing Communications Manager at Nokia from September 1994 to March 1998. In this role, they were responsible for managing marketing communications initiatives for Nokia.

Katiye Vuorela has a finance degree from INSEAD and a degree in economics from Hanken School of Economics.

Katiye Vuorela reports to Veli-Matti Mattila, Chief Executive Officer. Katiye Vuorela works with Pasi Mäenpää - Executive Vice President, New Business Development, Sami Ylikortes - Executive Vice President, Administration, and Jari Kinnunen - Chief Financial Officer.
