Julio Álvarez López

Julio Álvarez López has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Julio began their career as a Financial Advisor at Banco Sabadell in 1997 before transitioning to become a Financial Auditor at Deloitte España in 2001. In 2004, they joined AGBAR as an International Controller. Afterward, they became a part of COMSA Corporación, where they held various positions, including M&A/Strategy Manager and Project Finance/Asset Management Manager from 2006 to 2012. In 2013, they worked as the Strategy & Corporate Finance Director at Trakcja. From 2016 until 2022, they were the Manager of the Business Development Area at COMSA Corporación, responsible for managing different projects and subsidiaries. Most recently, in 2022, they became the Chief Financial Officer at DiR Corporate. Beginning in 2023, they will take on the position of Chief Financial Officer at ELTEX España.

Julio Álvarez López has a degree in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the Universitat de Barcelona. Julio also holds certifications as a Certified International Investment Analyst from the CIIA - Certified International Investment Analyst institution and as a Certified European Financial Analyst from the EFFAS - The European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies. Both certifications were obtained in 2008.
