Amir Ahmadi

Lead Scientific Advisor

Amir Ahmadi is an Associate Professor of Medicine and Cardiology and serves as the Director of Inpatient Cardiology at Mount Sinai Fuster Heart at Morningside. They founded and direct the Early Atherosclerosis Clinic and hold the position of Lead Scientific Advisor at Elucid. Amir completed their medical education at the University of British Columbia, earning a Doctor of Medicine, and pursued advanced training in cardiac imaging at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. Their research focuses on utilizing CT coronary angiography to address subclinical atherosclerosis, and Amir has received numerous accolades for their contributions to the field, including the Best Clinical Teaching Award in 2022 and the Faculty Council Award in 2023 from Mount Sinai.
