Saud Ikhwan

Saud Ikhwan, MEng, is a seasoned professional in utilities operations and development, currently serving as the Manager of Utilities Operations & Development at Emaar, The Economic City since January 2024. In this role, Saud oversees the operation and maintenance of various utilities, including a seawater reverse osmosis plant, potable water pumping stations, and sewage treatment plants, focusing on operational excellence and cost-effectiveness. Prior experience includes serving as an O&M Technical Engineer at Miahona from September 2017 to December 2023, where Saud managed performance and safety in water treatment processes, and as a Maintenance Engineer responsible for mechanical maintenance supervision. Earlier training as a Coop Project Engineer at Aramco provided foundational project management experience. Saud holds two master's degrees from King Fahd University of Petroleum & Minerals, one in Project Management and another in Water Desalination and Treatment, along with a bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
