Katarzyna Foremniak

Computational Linguist at emagine

Katarzyna Foremniak, Ph.D., serves as a Computational Linguist at emagine since June 2022, focusing on developing natural language understanding and generation models for in-car speech dialog systems in Italian and Polish. Concurrently, since February 2014, Katarzyna holds the position of Adjunct Assistant Professor at Uniwersytet Warszawski, teaching courses in phonetics, morphosyntax, contrastive linguistics, and translation. Previously, Katarzyna contributed as a Computational Linguist at Samsung Electronics Polska, supporting NLP projects, and worked as a copyeditor for "Gazeta Wyborcza." Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Linguistics and multiple master's degrees from the University of Warsaw, alongside a postgraduate degree in Language Interpretation and Translation and study abroad experience at Università degli Studi di Firenze.
