Tracy Black

Tracy Black is a board member at Emerge and a senior vice president at J.B. Hunt Transport, Inc. Tracy has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry and has led teams of 800 people. Tracy has a passion for IT innovation and has developed 5 year modernization programs that have transformed custom transportation management systems into scalable, event-driven, cloud-enabled platforms. Tracy has also led a 500 million dollar digital transformation strategy that created an online marketplace platform. In addition to their work in the IT industry, Tracy has also developed a talent acquisition strategy and a right sourcing strategy to improve performance and response to business challenges.

Tracy Black has a BS in Computer Science from the University of Arkansas and a Certification from The ExecRanks in Continuing Board Education. Tracy is currently a Computer Science teacher at The University of Tulsa.
