Richard Brase

Richard Brase, PhD, is a seasoned research scientist currently affiliated with Emergex Vaccines since May 2022. Previously, Richard served as a Research Affiliate 1 at Health Research, Inc., from December 2021 to April 2022, focusing on the analysis of PFAS in drinking water and landfill leachate samples. With a strong academic foundation, Richard completed a PhD in Environmental Health Sciences at the University at Albany, where research efforts included developing methods for PFAS biomonitoring and enhancing analytical sensitivity for emerging contaminants. Additional experience includes earlier roles at Marist College as a Research Assistant and Teaching Assistant, as well as an internship at the NJ Department of Environmental Protection. Richard holds a BS in Environmental Science from Marist College.
