Akshay Pathak

Akshay Pathak is currently serving as the Regional General Counsel for India, APAC, MEA, and China at Emeritus since November 2021, where responsibilities include managing legal and compliance matters across these regions. Prior to this role, Akshay held various legal positions at Airtel Payments Bank from September 2018 to November 2021, including Associate General Counsel and Team Leader for Legal. Akshay's earlier experience encompasses roles at the National Skill Development Corporation as a Legal Consultant and at Trade and Corporate Jurists as a Senior Legal Associate. Akshay also worked as a Legal Associate at SC Garg & Associates. The educational background includes advanced certifications from esteemed institutions such as The Wharton School, Imperial Business School, and the National University of Singapore, along with a Masters in Business Laws from the National Law School of India University and a Master of Laws in Intellectual Property Law from Ansal University Gurgaon. Additionally, Akshay has certifications in Cyber Law and Intellectual Property Rights from the Indian Law Institute and holds a Bachelor of Laws from IME Law College.
