William Brown is an accomplished Sr. Lecturer in the Film Studies Department at Emory University since 1974, specializing in video/film/photo production, screenwriting, and documentary filmmaking. In addition to academic roles, William serves as President of Atlanta Video, overseeing various broadcast and cultural programming, and has maintained a career as an independent filmmaker and visual artist since 1974, producing AG films, documentaries, and commissioned works. William co-founded Nexus Arts Center, now known as The Contemporary Arts Center, and previously instructed at Atlanta College of Art in film and photography. Educational background includes an MFA in Photography from the University of Florida and a BA in Psychology from Emory University.
