Carlo Zorzoli

Head, Business Development at Enel Green Power

Carlo Zorzoli is the Business Development Manager of Enel Green Power and the Business Development Manager of Enel Global Power Generation .

Its role concerns both the development activities of Enel Green Powerand those of Enel's thermoelectric business with a view to energy transition, leading a strong and motivated team of almost 400 collaborators in 23 countries spread over 5 continents.

Zorzoli has more than twenty years of experience in the energy sector and in 1996 he joined the Enel Group in the Distribution division. He has held various roles mainly dealing with the development of the business of electricity generation, conventional and above all renewable. His experience is mainly concentrated in the vast American continent working in the United States, Costa Rica, Brazil and Mexico, marking the latter's entry into the Group in 2007.

After holding the role of Iberia and Latin America Business Development Manager of Enel Green Power until 2013, he took care of the management and maintenance of the Italian Enel Green Power plants until 2015 and then led Enel Green Power's activities in Latin America as Area Manager. In 2016 he took on the role of Country Manager Brazil for the Enel Group and in this capacity, in the 30 months of the term of the assignment, he reorganized the management of Enel's Brazilian activities.

Carlo was born in Milan and holds a master's degree in electrical engineering from the University of Rome La Sapienza and an MBA from Duke University - Fuqua School of Business in North Carolina (USA).
