Renato Mastroianni

Renato Mastroianni is Head of Procurement for Enel Global Power Generation , Enel's business line that deals with the generation of energy from conventional and renewable sources.

In 2006 he joined Enel as a team leader in purchasing for Enel Distribuzione, immediately carrying out the International Purchasing Coordination. From 2008 to 2013 he was head of Integration, Safety & Operation Support at the International Division, focusing on improving operational performance in the Group's Eastern European countries. In 2013 he moved to HRO as manager for the Organization and integration of HR systems of the Enel Group, thus contributing to the major reorganization of the Group in 2014.

Since August 2016 he has been Head of Procurement, supporting both E&C in the construction of plants and O&M in the continuous search for operational excellence.

His career saw him first starring as Quality Manager at STM srl - a small manufacturing company, working on it for two years. Subsequently, he joined McKinsey, where he worked for several customers in the banking, energy, electronics, aerospace and consumer goods sectors, mainly dealing with process efficiency, optimization of purchases and Design to Cost.

Renato graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federico II University of Naples in 1998 and subsequently obtained an MBA from Insead.
