Rene Haevernick is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in the wind energy sector, currently serving as Chief Engineer of Product Development at ENERCON since October 2024. Previously, Rene held multiple roles at Nordex Group from February 2006 to February 2025, including Senior Expert Field Validation and Expert Engineer Field Validation, focusing on noise optimization, power curve optimization, and the development of control modes for wind turbines. Rene's expertise also extends to warranty documentation and participation in key industry committees, such as the Arbeitskreis Geräusche von Windenergieanlagen and the IEC - TC88/PT IEC 61400-11-2. Earlier in career, Rene worked at WIND-consult GmbH as an Engineer, where responsibilities included noise emission measurements and wind farm inspections. Rene holds a Dipl.-Ing. degree in Maschinenbau from Hochschule Wismar, completed in 1999.
