Matt Gallagher

Matt Gallagher, CSC, is a seasoned Director at KPMG Australia, leading the Engineering, Assets, and Project Delivery team with a robust background in Defence and Government sectors. With notable roles including National Defence Sector Lead at FDC Construction & Fitout and Director of Infrastructure at the Australian Department of Defence, Matt has overseen significant capital infrastructure projects in the Pacific region. Previous experience includes Chief of Operations for the Australian Army in Afghanistan and Chief of Staff for the Joint Capabilities Group, where responsibilities encompassed operational planning, governance, and budgeting. Matt holds a Master's Degree in Project Management and a Master's in Human Resource Management from UNSW, along with multiple other relevant qualifications.
