Joan Avit

Joan Avit is a seasoned professional in business operations and sales management, currently serving as the Country Business Ops Manager for ENGIE Energy Access (Africa) in Tanzania since September 2016, with responsibilities in new acquisition, last-mile distribution, and portfolio management. Previously, Joan held roles as Country Sales Manager and Zonal Manager for Coastal Zones at GraphoGame Tanzania NGO, as well as Assistant Regional Manager at Off.Grid:Electric. Joan's early experience includes positions such as HR Consultant and Intern at various organizations, complemented by a Master's in Entrepreneurship from the Eastern and Southern African Management Institute and a degree in Economics from Chuo Kikuu Mzumbe. Additionally, Joan was a Mandela Washington Fellow in Civic Leadership and Social Entrepreneurship at Portland State University.
