Roopinder Tara is the Director of Content Design & Software at engineering.com. Prior to their current position, they served as the CEO of Innovate3D, a non-profit organization that helps people with ideas realize their dream by providing technical expertise and tools to turn their ideas into patent drawings, 3D computer models or working model.

Tara has been in the publishing business for over 20 years and is recognized as the first mover online in their industry. Roopinder has led business direction to become number one online directory for engineers and businesses, boosting business growth of the company that thrived in post internet economy.

Some of their key contributions include gaining recognition as the first mover online in their industry, as well as setting and achieving milestones for sustainable business growth via enhanced customer engagement, company's image, and service quality.

Roopinder Tara has a BSME from Drexel University and an MS in Engineering from Penn State University.
