Dr. Laszlo A. Magyar has held various executive and leadership positions throughout their career. Their most recent role was as Vice President, Global Operational Excellence, and Life Sciences Operations at Entegris, starting in January 2024. Prior to that, they served as Vice President, Global Operational Excellence at Entegris from June 2022 to January 2024.
Before joining Entegris, Dr. Magyar worked at Tyman from January 2020 to June 2022, where they held the position of Senior Director, Continuous Improvement.
From October 2017 to December 2019, Dr. Magyar was the Executive Manufacturing Operations for North America Filters & Membranes/ED at SUEZ - Water Technologies & Solutions.
Dr. Magyar has also worked at GE in various roles. Dr. Laszlo A was Executive Manufacturing Operations for NAM Filters & Membranes/ED at GE Water from November 2016 to September 2017. Prior to that, they served as Executive Lean Leader, Global Supply Chain at GE Transportation from April 2012 to November 2016, and as Lean Leader Europe & Asia – Global Supply Chain at GE Energy from July 2008 to April 2012.
Earlier in their career, Dr. Magyar worked at GE as a Six Sigma Master Black Belt - Supply Chain EMEA from 2005 to 2008 and as Regional Warehousing & Distribution Manager – CEE/MEA/ROW regions from 2003 to 2005.
Dr. Laszlo A began their career at GE Lighting EMEA, where they held the positions of Plant Unit Manager and TOW Project Leader from 1998 to 2002, and Manufacturing Engineer & Manager of Shop Operations Automotive Plant Unit from 1996 to 1998.
Dr. Laszlo A Magyar has a diverse education history. Dr. Laszlo A holds a DBA degree from California Southern University, which they completed from 2016 to 2021. Dr. Laszlo A also participated in the Shingo Institute - Executive Education Program at Utah State University's Jon M. Huntsman School of Business from 2014 to 2015. Additionally, they completed a Supply Chain Master's Program at the University of Michigan's Stephen M. Ross School of Business in 2010. In their earlier academic career, they earned an MBA from Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2000. Dr. Laszlo A also holds a B.Sc in Total Quality Management from the College for Foreign Trade, Budapest, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998, and a B.Sc in Mechanical Engineering from the College for Mechanic and Automition, Kecskemét, which they completed from 1993 to 1996. In addition to their degrees, Dr. Laszlo A Magyar has obtained certifications in "Developing People Through Effective Feedback & Coaching" from The Institute for Personal Leadership and "Leading Innovative Change: Executive Education Program" from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business.
