Andrew Schafer

CTO at Entelo

Andrew Schafer is the current Chief Technology Officer at Entelo. Andrew has been with the company since August 2019, and in their role has been responsible for leading the engineering, dev-ops, quality assurance, and data science departments in development of the ConveyIQ and Entelo products. Prior to the acquisition of ConveyIQ, they also served as head of product development.

Some of their notable accomplishments include being heavily involved in Entelo's Series B2 funding and the acquisition of ConveyIQ (including additional funding), leading the merger of the Entelo and ConveyIQ technology organizations across multiple teams and three different locations, and scaling the technology organization from 8 to 30+ members. Andrew also oversees the entire product development lifecycle, and has designed and instituted cross-functional distributed development practices. In addition, they are responsible fordirecting Entelo's technical strategy and architectural system development, as well implementing company level SOC 2 compliance controls and leading the attestation processes. Finally, they lead the organization and communication around the product roadmap and resource allocation.

Andrew Schafer has a MBA from NYU Stern School of Business with a focus on Entrepreneurism and Leadership. Andrew also has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from Purdue University. In addition, they have completed two certifications from Coursera in Applied Data Science with Python Specialization and Machine Learning.

Andrew Schafer reports to Robert Tsao, CEO. and Cole Goeppinger - SVP of Engineering reports to Andrew Schafer. Andrew Schafer works with Ron Teeter - Chief Technology Officer, Andre Boulais - VP of Customer Success, and Elena Sigacheva - Head of Product.
