Phillip R. May is the current President & CEO of Entergy Louisiana at Entergy. Phillip has been in this role since January 2000. Prior to this, they were the Vice President of Transition Management at Entergy from January 2000 to December 2000, where they were responsible for preparing the utility operating companies for retail competition.

Phillip R. May has an MBA from the University of New Orleans and a BSEE from the University of Southwest Louisiana. Phillip also has a degree in Pre-Engineering from Southeastern Louisiana University. Phillip graduated from Glen Oaks High School.
