Alexa Toomey is an experienced professional with a strong background in policy and strategy, sustainability, and economic advisory roles. Since September 2008, Alexa has held multiple positions at Enterprise Ireland, including Head of Policy & Strategy and Head of Sustainability, Renewable Energy & Agtech, as well as serving as Department Manager for Dairy, Drinks & Food Foreign Direct Investment. Previous experience includes a role as Listing Adviser at the Irish Stock Exchange and Senior Fund Accountant at Citco Fund Services. Alexa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Trinity College Dublin, a Master of Arts in Economics from University College Cork, and a Graduate Diploma in Development Economics and International Development from the University of London, complemented by a Diploma in Financial Management from ACCA.
