David Brice

General Manager - Customer Group at Envato

David Brice is the current General Manager - Customer Group at Envato. Prior to this, they were the General Manager & Executive - SMB at Envato from January 2013 to December 2018. There, they led and managed multiple full-stack teams of up to 60 people in the US, Europe and Australia, focused on launching and scaling new product lines in multiple industry segments. In 2015, they also took on the role of Studio (Premium freelance services marketplace) Manager & Tuts+ (Online Education including 30 person Content production team) Manager, where they were responsible for the operation of businesses including production, research, marketing, sales and strategy; as well as management of teams locally and internationally. From 2016 to 2018, they also oversaw Hosted (WordPress Hosting & Website Marketplace).

Prior to joining Envato, David Brice was the owner of Zeobond (E-Crete), a Green Tech company focused on development and commercialisation of low carbon emission cement and concrete. As General Manager, they were responsible for the operation of business including production, research, marketing, sales and strategy; management of teams locally and internationally; as well as managing relationships with key clients including the Australian Government, Cement producers and publicly listed civil construction and engineering companies. David also oversaw international R&D collaboration with research groups in USA, Europe, UAE and China.

David Brice has an honorary fellowship from the University of Melbourne, a BEng/BComm from the University of Melbourne in Chemical Engineering and Commerce (Finance, Economics), and certification from the BEng (Honours)/BComm.
