Dawn Newsome

Dawn works across business lines to ensure Envestnet is positioned to deliver on its objectives, reach its financial milestones, and continue to grow its market share. Dawn is driving Envestnet’s more immediate priorities and initiatives, including efforts to operationalize new ventures which support its growth.

Dawn has extensive experience in the financial services industry, including most recently as CEO of the Americas at TP ICAP, the world’s largest inter-dealer broker. In this role, Dawn was responsible for overall management across business lines and support functions. She also served as COO of Liquidnet, a fully electronic agency broker which was acquired by TP ICAP in March 2021.

Prior to joining TP ICAP, Dawn was an in-business CTO for Nomura’s Global Rates and Americas Liquid Products organizations, where she was responsible for technology strategy and electronic product offerings. Dawn has also held leadership positions at NatWest, formerly Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS), and JP Morgan.

Dawn is committed to diversity and inclusion, and has been actively involved in recruiting and mentoring women in the workforce. She was co-chair of Nomura’s women’s network, and at TP ICAP, she led the diversity and inclusion strategy for the Americas. Dawn is excited about any opportunity to coach young women contemplating careers in science and technology, and continues to mentor women in the early stages of their careers.

Dawn earned her bachelor’s degree in Chemistry and Computer Science from Bucknell University.
