Keelan Umbarger

Keelan Umbarger is an accomplished geologist with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as a Senior Geologist in both Oil & Gas and Sustainable Power at EOG Resources since August 2018. Responsibilities include leading teams to develop exploration prospects in the Dakota Formation and integrating geological and petrophysical data for exploration drilling evaluations in the Permian Basin. Previously, Keelan held various roles at EOG Resources, including internships focused on geoscience projects. Keelan also contributed to academia as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at The University of Kansas and has a solid research background from positions at the University of Texas at Austin. Keelan holds a Bachelor of Science in Geological Sciences from the University of Texas at Austin and a Master's degree in Geology from the University of Kansas.
