Melissa Kowalewski

Melissa Kowalewski is a seasoned legal professional with extensive experience in various roles within the field of law. Currently serving as an Assistant County Attorney for Merrimack since December 2020, Melissa has previously held positions at the Hillsborough County Attorneys Office and Morneau Law. Prior to these roles, Melissa managed the Domestic Violence Project for the New Hampshire Judicial Branch, focusing on policy and training related to domestic violence laws. Additional experience includes coaching middle school soccer and serving as a prosecutor for the Merrimack Police Department. Melissa began their legal career as a Staff Attorney with the New Hampshire Public Defender and gained teaching experience as an adjunct professor. Melissa holds a Juris Doctor from Syracuse University College of Law and a Bachelor of Arts in History from Wellesley College.
