Daniel E. McKay

Dan is a highly-qualified healthcare executive with more than 25 years of experience in senior-level roles. He earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration in 1988 from the University of Kentucky and then earned a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration in 1992 from Xavier University in Cincinnati. Dan was employed with the Community Health System based in Franklin, TN for 25 years, serving as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Operating Officer for multiple hospitals and also as Vice President of Operations for two divisions. He joined the Ephraim McDowell Health family in July 2018. Dan is married with four children and enjoys golfing, fishing, hunting, and following the Big Blue Nation.
