Payam Vatani

Payam Vatani is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in customer success, implementation, and product leadership at Epic since February 2014. As a Senior Director, Payam advises C-level executives in health systems on digital strategies and technology integration, overseeing the growth and satisfaction of over 40 product leads and project managers. Previously, as a Dermatology Product Lead, Payam drove significant customer growth and market expansion for Epic’s Dermatology specialty product, while managing multiple project implementations and client relationships. Earlier roles included Clinical Implementation Manager, where Payam successfully led numerous enterprise software implementations across various continents, and a Research Analyst at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where experimental research on environmental effects on agriculture was conducted. Payam holds a Bachelor of Science in Molecular and Cellular Biology from the same university.
