Andrew Hubele

Andrew Hubele is a seasoned professional in the field of electrification solutions and battery electric vehicle design, currently serving as the Global R&D Director for Epiroc Electrification Solutions since July 2022, overseeing a diverse team of over 100 engineers across multiple countries. Andrew's expertise includes management of advanced projects involving traction batteries, chargers, energy storage systems, electrical infrastructure, and power electronics. Prior to this role, Andrew demonstrated significant leadership as the Engineering Manager and Team Lead for Battery Electric Vehicle Design at FVT and gained valuable experience at CNOOC International in drilling and completions engineering. Andrew holds a Bachelor's Degree in Energy Engineering from the Schulich School of Engineering, University of Calgary, and has further educational credentials in Petroleum Engineering Technology and Instrumentation and Automation from the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology.
