Kevin Lian

Kevin Lian is a Senior GNC Engineer at EpiSci, an Applied Intuition company, with a robust background in aerospace engineering. Previously, Lian served as a Guidance, Navigation, and Control Engineer at The Aerospace Corporation, where significant achievements included developing high-fidelity simulations for launch vehicles and modular spacecraft using ROS2 and C++. Lian has experience in real-time telemetry monitoring, workflow automation with Python, and robotic arm calibration. As a System Engineer at Northrop Grumman, contributions included developing system architecture and enhancing Model Based Systems Engineering participation. Lian interned at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, focusing on attitude control systems and cost models, and led attitude determination efforts on the Electron Losses in Magnetic Fields Investigation Cubesat. Lian holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering from UCLA.
