George Seet

George Seet is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in global operations engineering, currently serving as the Director of Global Operations Engineering at Equinix Asia Pacific Pte Ltd since July 2003. In this role, George leads the Asia-Pacific central engineering team, providing strategic and technical guidance to ensure the operational stability of 46 data centers across 12 metropolitan areas, in collaboration with 150 local engineers. Prior roles include Senior Engineering Manager, Senior Electrical Engineer, and Pre-Sales Support Engineer at Datacraft, as well as Project Manager positions at NCS Group and Ho Hup Electrical Engineering. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science in Management of Technology from the National University of Singapore and a Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from The University of Salford, complemented by a Diploma in Electrical Engineering from Singapore Polytechnic.
