Ashley Thoma

Ashley Thoma is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in the oil and gas industry, currently serving as the Leader of Safety, Security, and Sustainability at Equinor since July 2013. Thoma has held several influential positions at Equinor, including Leader of Drilling and Well Operations, Lead Auditor, and Completions Team Lead. Prior to this role, Thoma worked at EOG Resources as a Senior Reservoir Engineer and Senior Production Engineer, and at El Paso E&P and El Paso in various engineering roles. Early career experience includes working as a Stimulation Engineer at Halliburton. Thoma holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Texas A&M University and has completed executive education programs at Harvard Business School, focusing on commercial performance and decision-making for senior leaders.
