Espen Matre

Espen Matre is currently serving as a Management Assistant to the Senior Vice President of EPN Joint Operation Support at Equinor since September 2022, with additional responsibilities as an Additive Manufacturing Subject Matter Expert. Prior to this, Matre held the position of CTO at Additech AS from November 2020 to August 2022 and worked as a Materials & Process Development Engineer at Norsk Titanium from May 2019 to September 2020. Experience also includes roles as an Engineer at Stord Process AS and a Temporary Engineer at Norsk Titanium, along with a brief internship at Guala Closures Group. Early career development involved a summer internship as a Petroleum Engineer at Thermtech AS and a student position at the University of Luxembourg. Espen Matre holds an M.Sc. in Sustainable Product Creation from the University of Luxembourg and a degree in Production Technology from Høgskolen i Bergen, complemented by foundational studies in Natural Science and Mathematics at Os Gymnas.
