Leyla Safarova

Leyla Safarova is an accomplished professional in the field of instrumentation and automation, currently serving as Principal Auto and Telecom Tech at Equinor since September 2025. Prior to this role, Safarova held positions as Senior Instrument Engineer at Helmerich & Payne and KCA Deutag from January 2025 to January 2025 and December 2022 to January 2025, respectively. Safarova's experience also includes significant contributions as Senior Instrument Engineer at Aibel from January 2019 to December 2022 and previous roles as Automation Engineer at Head Energy AS and Aibel. Beginning a career in discipline instrumentation engineering at REINERTSEN AS, Safarova's early career involved maintenance and modification work on the Troll C oil and gas platform.
