William J. Link

William J. Link is the current Director at Equinox. Prior to that, they worked at Avazyme, Inc. from September 2019 to March 2020 as the Administration, IT and Software Solutions. There, they created over 100 Excel, Word, Docusign and Adobe DC Pro templates to streamline data generation and storage. William also proposed and implemented 15 PowerPoint manuals to identify and improve administrative and management functions.

Link has a history of being efficient and frugal with company money. William negotiated a one-year Docusign contract at a $5,000 discount as an additional auditable step for Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliancy. William also mapped a proxy LIMS system in Excel using pivot tables, macros and time-based functions to aid both scientists and customer relations employees.

Purchases made under Link's watch include a 48 Port Gigabit Ethernet Rackmount Switch, DDR3 and DDR4 RAM cards for 4 computers and mechanical parts for laboratory machines. All of these purchases were made with an eye towards efficiency and cost savings.

Link was also responsible for balancing onsite and offsite projects to fulfill the needs of multiple departments. This required excellent communication skills, as they needed to communicate changing goals and expectations to Avazyme employees while providing clear details and training on new workflow processes.

When the company needed to research and design a Dell PowerEdge T440 Tower Server, Link took on the task. William developed a system for generating GLP document and signatures with an auditable trail for continued Title 21 CFR Part 11 compliancy. The end result was a server that met all of the company's needs without breaking the budget.

William J. Link graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration from Belmont University with an emphasis in music production. William then completed a coding bootcamp certificate from UNC-Chapel Hill and received a certification from UNC-Chapel Hill in digital and lifelong learning in coding full stack boot camp.
