Hector Martinez

Hector Martinez is Head of Life Insurance at Equitable and a member of the company’s Operating Committee. In this role Mr. Martinez is responsible for oversight, strategy and management of Equitable’s life and long-term care insurance products and solutions.

Mr. Martinez offers more than two decades of sales and channel distribution experience in the insurance and financial technology industries and a strong track record of driving efficiencies and advancements in sales processes. Over his career, he has spearheaded several business restructuring and distribution initiatives to expand call center capabilities and redesign custom business development platforms to drive greater client service.

Prior to Equitable, Mr. Martinez was Chief Sales Officer and Head of Truist Life at Crump Life Insurance Services, and earlier in his career held several senior leadership roles at ADP.

Mr. Martinez received a Bachelor of Science degree in business and economics from Lehigh University.
