Sarah Zaher Addeen

Sarah Zaher Addeen is an experienced ophthalmologist currently serving as an Assistenzärztin für Augenheilkunde at Universitätsmedizin Rostock since June 2024, while also holding a position at Almouassat University Hospital since March 2018. Sarah is an active member of the Cochrane schizophrenia group and the Cochrane Collaboration, contributing to the classification of randomized controlled trials worldwide. With a strong academic background, Sarah has been a lecturer in academic writing at Al Assad University Hospital and a professional advanced life support provider with potential instructor capabilities with the ERC European Resuscitation Council. In addition, Sarah has volunteered as a first aider with the Syrian Arab Red Crescent since 2011. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Ophthalmology from Al Mouwassat University Hospital and a Doctor of Medicine from Damascus University, along with ongoing advanced studies in the field.
