Jeremy Newman

Jeremy began his legal career in private practice at a local Rochester law firm. He started with ESL in 2009 as Associate General Counsel and was responsible for providing guidance on a variety of areas related to managing legal, regulatory, and compliance for the company. In his role as VP/Deputy General Counsel, Jeremy provides legal guidance to ESL and its subsidiaries ESL Investment Services, ESL Trust Services, and Cooper/Haims Advisors, and is responsible for the development, maintenance, and assessment of ESL's governance architecture. Jeremy graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the State University of New York at Albany, and received his Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo. He is on the board of the Society for the Protection and Care of Children, the American Red Cross, Greater Rochester chapter, and he also volunteers as a Town of Perinton Youth Soccer coach.
