Sarah Stokes

Sarah Stokes is a seasoned professional in public health and wellbeing, currently serving as a Senior Wellbeing and Public Health Officer at Essex County Council since April 2023. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as the Sport England Local Delivery Pilot Coordinator at Active Essex from November 2018 to March 2023, and as a Wellbeing Adviser at the University of Essex from September 2017 to November 2018. Sarah has a strong academic foundation with a Master of Science in Public Health from the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Previous experience includes positions such as Recovery and Therapeutic Support Worker at The Haven Project and multiple roles at Anglian Community Enterprise, including Project Lead for the Volunteer Programme and Health Trainer. Sarah holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from The Open University and a Higher Education Certificate in Mathematics.
