Mette Bjerre-Christensen

Mette Bjerre-Christensen currently serves as the Director of Commercial for Health & Medical at Essity, overseeing overall P&L responsibilities for the organization in Denmark and leading the local management team. Mette is a board member at the Parker Institute Patient Organisation and previously held the position of Country Manager for Oncology at Photocure, where Mette managed commercial operations and stakeholder relations. Prior experiences include leading commercial strategies in Immunology at UCB and Biogen across Denmark, Norway, and Iceland, as well as project management at Baxter International. With a solid educational background in psychology, market access, and healthcare, Mette has developed expertise in negotiation, project leadership, and stakeholder engagement throughout a career that includes roles in healthcare and management consulting.
