Chryssa Markopoulou

Chryssa Markopoulou, PhD, currently serves as the Head of Business Planning in the Transformation Office at Eurobank, a position held since May 2025. Prior to this, Chryssa spent a decade at EY, where roles included Director of Transformation Architecture and Director of Finance Consulting Services, focusing on financial and operational excellence through strategic transformation initiatives for CFOs and promoting finance and treasury as business partners. Chryssa's experience also includes a postdoctoral research fellowship at the Athens University of Economics and Business, specializing in financial risk management and econometrics, along with a background as a Financial Advisor at Hughes Financial Analytics, where significant contributions to credit analysis and commodity hedging strategies were made. Chryssa holds a PhD in Financial Risk Management and an MBA in Financial Engineering from the Athens University of Economics and Business, along with a Bachelor's degree in Financial and Banking Management from the University of Piraeus.
