Lasitha Dissanayake

Lasitha Dissanayake currently serves as the Head of C&E Strategy and Framework at Euroclear since August 2023. Previously, Lasitha held several key positions at Morgan Stanley from April 2017 to October 2022, including EMEA Legal and Compliance Chief Operating Officer and EMEA Head of Governance and Central Compliance, focusing on enhancing core divisional processes and risk management frameworks. Before Morgan Stanley, Lasitha was the EMEA Head of Central Compliance and COO at Credit Suisse from October 2009 to March 2017, where responsibilities included building strong relationships with the business and delivering a robust risk framework. Earlier experience includes serving as Director at UBS Investment Bank, leading compliance initiatives in the Dubai branch, and as a Regulatory Consultant at Deloitte. Lasitha holds a Bachelor of Science in Politics from the University of Bristol and has completed a program at Saïd Business School, University of Oxford in 2012.
