Kaja Zuwala

Kaja Zuwala is a seasoned professional in the field of medical science and business development. Currently serving as a Business Development Manager at Eurofins Discovery since September 2022, Kaja previously founded and led production at Baklava Factory, ZEST, SkinLab from January 2020 to July 2022. Kaja's extensive research experience includes roles as a Postdoctoral Researcher and Clinical Study Assistant at Aarhus University Hospital, where project management involved the development of a new therapeutic for HIV-1 and coordination of a multinational vaccine trial. Kaja has held positions as a Postdoctoral Researcher at Aarhus University, a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cologne, and garnered expertise in antiviral drug development and biotechnology throughout educational pursuits, culminating in a PhD from Aarhus University. Additionally, Kaja holds a CORe Credential of Readiness from Harvard Business School Online and has a strong foundation in biotechnology from Jagiellonian University.
