Ioannis Drositis

Ioannis Drositis is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in DevOps and systems engineering, currently serving as a Lead Platform/DevOps Engineer and IT Operations Officer at the European Banking Authority since September 2014. With a strong background in operating and monitoring IT infrastructures, Ioannis has played critical roles in ensuring the smooth functioning of production applications and end-to-end systems. Prior to the European Banking Authority, Ioannis worked as a Systems Engineer at Gilt Groupe, an IT System Engineer at the General Secretariat for Information Systems, and has experience as an independent consultant since October 1997. Ioannis holds a PhD in Computer Science with a focus on Parallel Processing and Scheduling Algorithms, along with a degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the National Technical University of Athens.
