Anna Panagopoulou

Anna Panagopoulou is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in European Commission roles, currently serving as Head of Cabinet and Director, where responsibilities include leading the European Research Area and the New European Innovation Agenda, as well as overseeing key components of the Horizon Europe programme. Previously, as Director at the Common Support Centre, Anna defined legal frameworks and business processes for the H2020 programme. Anna's career includes leadership positions at INEA, focusing on programme support and resources, and earlier roles in policy and engineering with the European Commission, Siemens, and IBM, with a strong academic foundation in electrical engineering and communications from the National Technical University of Athens.
