Andrei B. Murarasu

Andrei B. Murarasu is a legal professional with extensive experience in European law and competition policy. Currently serving as Legal Counsel at the European Investment Fund since August 2020, Andrei has held significant roles within the European Commission, including Case Handler in the Directorate-General for Competition from April 2016 to August 2020. Previous experience includes a position in Antitrust & Merger Control at Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and work in the EU Law Department at Airbus Group. Andrei’s educational qualifications include a Master of Laws (LL.M.) in European Law from the College of Europe, a Master's in Droit européen from the University of Paris I, an LL.B. through the Erasmus Programme from Université Côte d'Azur, and a Bachelor of Laws from Universitatea „Alexandru Ioan Cuza” din Iași.
