Christian López-Baillo is a seasoned professional in business development and investment management, currently serving as Principal Business Development and EIF Local Representative for Spain and Portugal at the European Investment Fund since August 2017. Previously, Christian held multiple roles at the European Investment Bank, culminating as Senior Investment Officer responsible for managing private equity investments in emerging markets. Christian also possesses entrepreneurial experience as the Founder-Director of Altamira Capital and held key positions at Iame Capital Riesgo and Neto Capital, focusing on venture capital and investment management in various sectors. With a strong educational foundation, including an MBA from IESE Business School and a finance degree from Universidad Pontificia Comillas, Christian brings a wealth of expertise in financial consulting and venture capital advisory.
