Edward McGregor

Edward McGregor is a professional Conference Interpreter with extensive experience in simultaneous, consecutive, liaison, and chuchotage interpretation, specializing in French, Spanish, and Portuguese to English. McGregor has been employed at the European Parliament since 2019 and previously served as a part-time lecturer in Conference Interpreting at the University of Liège from 2016 to 2019. Freelance work included interpretation for various clients such as the European Commission, European Parliament, European Council, and the British Government from 2011 to 2019. Earlier roles also encompassed part-time lecturing at Universidad de La Laguna and civil service at the Ministry of Defence in London. McGregor holds an European Masters in Conference Interpreting from Universidad de La Laguna and a BA Hons in French and Hispanic Studies from The University of Salford.
